It is intended for reference, inspiration, and use in historical dramatizations. Each woman profiled has led a strong public life in an environment hostile to female leadership. Each person has had assets that leveled the opposition — a belief in the Christian message and awareness of divine anointing. Each believed that she truly was a “laborer together with God.”
